How information is used in this early-access version.
Polara is an independently operated personal project. Its operator manages the website and email list. You can contact the operator at polarastar.help@gmail.com.
If you arrive through a tagged link, a signed first-party session cookie carries its campaign labels between pages and associates them with a signup. It has no configured persistent expiry; browser session restoration may keep it longer. A new tagged entry replaces the previous labels. These labels describe the link used, not proof of which video you watched. Without a cookie or labels, you can still subscribe, but the campaign fields may be blank.
Aggregate site statistics. We keep our own first-party counts of page views, daily visitors, campaign labels, visitor country and a few milestones (a reading was generated, the signup invitation was shown, an email was submitted), and we use them to work out visitor-to-signup rates. To count a visitor only once per day we derive a one-way, salted fingerprint from your IP address and browser information; the salt is replaced every day, and the underlying IP address and full browser string are never written to our statistics storage. These records are counts only — they cannot be traced back to you, contain no advertising or cross-site identifier, and are not linked to your email address, birth details or reading. No third-party analytics or tracking service is used, and these counts are not shared.
Zeabur hosts the website, stored signup list and technical records. DeepSeek processes the birth/chart information included in a reading request to compose the interpretation. The reading request does not include your waitlist email address. Google/Gmail processes messages you send to our support inbox. Pages may also request fonts or other resources from external providers, which receive the network information needed to deliver them.
These providers may process information outside your country under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not claim that data stays in your country or that particular transfer agreements have been verified. We do not sell the signup list.
Clicking a clearly labelled signup button requests launch and discount emails from Polara. This is optional and is not required to see your free reading. It does not sign you up for unrelated marketing or a paid subscription.
To withdraw, email polarastar.help@gmail.com with the subject “Unsubscribe”, preferably from the subscribed address. Requests are handled manually. The current site saves your signup; it does not automatically send a confirmation or report by email.
The signup list is kept while it is needed for the launch list, until you withdraw, or until the list is discontinued. Reading caches remain until cleared, replaced or removed following a request. Technical-log retention depends on the hosting configuration; we do not promise a fixed 90-day deletion schedule. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request.
You can ask to access, correct or delete information by emailing us. For a cached reading, provide the birth parameters you entered so we can locate it; we do not need identity documents for an ordinary request. We may need to verify that an email address belongs to you. Your additional rights and applicable response deadlines depend on your location and the law that applies; where applicable you may complain to a data-protection authority.
This service is intended for adults aged 18 or over. If a child has submitted information, contact us to request removal. The website uses HTTPS and the email-list administration area requires a password. These measures do not guarantee absolute security.
We will update this notice when the service or data use changes, including before introducing payments or changing the stated email purpose.
